Sci-fi week
For this week’s digital painting, I decided to stick with the sci-fi theme:
- 3hr life painting: macross!!!
- Sketchup + photoshop
This mash-up vehicle was created from Sketchup (used various components from existing library in 3D warehouse). Then it was painted over on photoshop.

Environment Design: Final Project
It’s the final departure.
The sun is finally setting and now they are embarking on a new journey to look for a new but unknown tomorrow. While the last batch of “chosen” ones are anxious to aboard the ship, a small group of privileged nobles are desperately but ineffectively trying to negotiate and bribe–concepts they never had to practice or get accustomed to until now–the gatekeepers to see another sunrise. On the bridge, the mother is holding her son’s hand. The father is trying his best to stand tall for his son even if the hope can’t be found. Those who are left behind will have to conjure up their last drop of courage to face the night.

This is my final proj for intro to maya class. I imagine this room to be in one of the horror/action games. The room has enough cozy elements but ultimately it creates sort of creepy and uneasy ambiance, and something bad is about to happen soon.
